THE HEROES
Cloud Strife

In
Final fantasy Vll, Cloud is the main protagonist of the game. He is introduced as a mercenary and former member of SOLDIER. During a mission in which he worked with the anti-ShinRa organization AVALANCHE, he encounters a young woman by the name of
Aerith Gainsborough, who is wanted by the
Turks. Cloud was born in the sleepy mountain village of Nibelheim, along with Tifa Lockhart. He grew up isolated from the rest of the village children. However, when Tifa and the others attempted to climb Mt. Nibel, Cloud followed them, Tifa fell from a bridge and her father blamed Cloud. He resolved to join ShinRa's elite SOLDIER force, hoping to prove to the others that he could be as strong as the well-known SOLDIER 1st Class
Sephiroth.
Early in the game, however, Cloud's past is a mystery. He claims that he was in the village of Nibelheim with Sephiroth when he went berserk and massacred the local population. After finding
Tifa wounded, Cloud confronts Sephiroth. Yet, when examined closely, Cloud's memories of these events and others are filled with empty plot-holes that prevent them from making sense. It all comes together later in the game. As it turns out, Cloud suffers from a mixture of
amnesia and mind control. Although he had been in Nibelheim during Sephiroth's rampage, he was not there as a top ranking member of SOLDIER, but a regular ShinRa guard under the command of both Sephiroth and another man named
Zack. Following the incident, Cloud and Zack were captured by ShinRa and experimented on with
Jenova cells for several years. The two escaped but were chased down. Zack was killed, and Cloud was left for dead in a confused stuporn, believing that himself to have been the SOLDIER Zack was. 17 year old Ryudo is the main protagonist of the game. Initially rude toward people, with a very sarcastic and cynical attitude, he later comes to terms with the causes of his bitter behavior, which stems from traumatic events in his past. His character develops substantially throughout the game, as he learns through experiences with his friends and teammates about the concept of caring for others.
Ryudo is typically accompanied by his talking bird, Skye, and even though they spend most of the time mocking each other, they can't live without each other. At the beginning of the game, Ryudo has just completed a mission as a Geohound, and is preparing for some time off. However, he instead discovers a new task for him, requested by the church of Granas. But when in a Pokémon battle, he is highly competitive, and he shows tremendous presence of mind, taking advantage of the battlefield as well as the nature of his and the enemy Pokémon's moves to claim victory after victory, though he has been known to lose from time to time
Felix(lost age)

is the
silent protagonist of Golden Sun: The Lost Age and may be considered the game's counterpart and rival to the prequel's main playable character, Isaac. Felix is a Venus Adept like Isaac, possessing the ability to manipulate earth-based forces of nature such as terra and flora through Psynergy. Felix lived in Vale with his younger sister Jenna, Isaac, and Garet, but the boulder disaster in Golden Sun's prologue nearly killed him. He and his parents were rescued by Saturos and Menardi of Prox, and they were separated from Jenna and the others when brought up to Prox to live there for three years under Saturos' tutelage. Felix becomes indebted to serve and assist Saturos in his objective to restore Alchemy to the world; circumstances in the present set Isaac's objective to prevent Alchemy's return, so the two young warriors, alongside their respective parties, are set up to be rivals-in-conflict throughout all of Golden Sun and most of The Lost Age. All throughout this time period, Felix is not presented a proper opportunity to explain to Isaac his motivation for assisting Saturos' objective. I don't see what what wrong with his voice as he was talking in the first series.
